I'm not sure I actually want to know, but did anyone find any pictures of me?

[ooc: One of the following is weirder out of context than the others.  Up for finding by all.  Short post is short, because I wasn't going to post for him, but just couldn't resist.

ETA: going to bed, will backdate.]

Ah ha. Unfortunately, that kind of study would be along the lines of an autopsy, and I'd like to avoid that sort of thing. You know, though... you may be on to something. I've only met a handful of individuals with supernatural strength, and each of them was--well, they weren't as bad as him, but they weren't clever by any means.

[ooc: I would love action, although it might be a wee bit sporadic on my end. Crazy people, thinking things should happen on birthdays.]

That is lucky. Me, I stub my toe and my entire foot turns purple. It's terrible.

.....really.

[Dr. Horrible is waiting in the lobby. He realizes it's been rather a while since he's actually had a conversation with anyone in person. And the photo with Penny was a photo with Billy--when was the last time he went out as Billy other than to buy groceries?]

[ooc: Things should happen on birthdays if they are good things! Happy Birthday!]

It's a curse day. That sort of thing just keeps happening.

That's hardly an answer to my question, you know.

While some days may seem accursed, I have yet to notice rains of photographs.

I want to rule the world. There's only a certain number of ways to go about that.

So you really mean to tell me that you're an evil criminal with plans to take over the world. And that doesn't bother you at all. Is that it?

The city's curses come and go. Some repeat. Strange things happen from midnight to midnight. No one's found a real pattern yet, but they're looking.

A Pattern. Yes, there would be a pattern, wouldn't there? Can you tell me more of your observations? Is it always midnight to midnight?

he so rarely actually gets called on that

That's--

The point is--It's better than the alternative!

But...I have been talking to Carl about the while being evil thing and I don't think I have to be evil and I haven't done anything particularly criminal here. Things have been kind of different, here.

From: [identity profile] horrible-phd.livejournal.com
Yeah. Though some of them have lasted more than a day and some come one day after another. But it's always midnight. The City has a thing about clocks, that's for sure.

Evil is not something she takes lightly

How is evil ever better than the alternative? It's evil!

Honestly, I really thought you were a good person deep down and I've been trying very hard to defend you because of that, but you're really not making it very easy right now.

[Carl gets to the lobby fairly quickly for him, which isn't all that fast by normal standards. He has the photo (second from the bottom) with him, and his usual cheer seems a bit forced. That might have something to do with the picture involving a dress and bonnet.]

Hello! I haven't kept you waiting, have I? There was a bit of a--well, nothing but the tabletop was damaged beyond repair, so it's hardly worth mentioning. This belongs to you, I believe.

[D'aww, thank you. <3 Slinking off to bed now, but I'll tag back asap!]

this conversation will not end well *facepalm*

The alternative is Captain Hammer. And the Evil League of Evil actually accomplishes things, has the power to affect the status quo. There's something seriously wrong with society and it needs to be changed somehow.

Well--well, I don't need you to defend me, anyway!

There is the gigantic clock underneath the Carousel. And the ticking. It stopped once, when everyone started turning into zombies.

It had to come eventually? <3

And what makes you think anything calling itself an "Evil League of Evil" is going to change anything for the better? Even if Captain Hammer clearly isn't a reasonable alternative--I can't claim to know what your world is like, but still, there must be a better way.

You said yourself that you don't think you have to be evil, that the City is different. And I don't think a truly evil person would even consider thoughts like that. But if you insist that you are...

No, I've only been waiting here a moment.

[That sounds like a perfectly normal day in the lab for Dr. Horrible. He takes the photograph and stares at it.]

It's only been a few months. It feels like...[only this is Dr. Horrible and he's not particularly good with metaphors, so he just shakes his heads.] Well, it's weird to see this.

That's...not going to be easy.

Did anyone send you a guide?
From: [identity profile] horrible-phd.livejournal.com
It can be used that way. Evil's just...a word and when nothing's meaningful anyway--

I'm not insisting. Now.
