#24: Photographic evidence

I'm not sure I actually want to know, but did anyone find any pictures of me?

[ooc: One of the following is weirder out of context than the others.  Up for finding by all.  Short post is short, because I wasn't going to post for him, but just couldn't resist.

ETA: going to bed, will backdate.]

No one! I thought the whole Karrin Murphy thing got cleared up. It's totally not my style.

And, um, wrong?

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, he seems to think you do things like that rather regularly, back in your own world. Even though I'm really not so sure about it, myself...

Of course it's wrong!

[identity profile] horrible-phd.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 08:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm a criminal back in my world, I admit that. I pulled off a wildly successful heist in order to obtain some Wonderflonium. But I never...no one's gotten hurt from anything I've done. Though I would've liked to have hurt Captain Hammer.

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 08:58 pm (UTC)(link)
...Please tell me you at least have a very, very good reason for being a criminal? Like...stealing from the rich to feed the poor, or something like that?

[identity profile] horrible-phd.livejournal.com 2009-03-26 04:08 am (UTC)(link)
I am interested in social change...

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2009-03-26 04:13 am (UTC)(link)
That's hardly an answer to my question, you know.

[identity profile] horrible-phd.livejournal.com 2009-03-26 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
I want to rule the world. There's only a certain number of ways to go about that.

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2009-03-26 04:39 am (UTC)(link)
So you really mean to tell me that you're an evil criminal with plans to take over the world. And that doesn't bother you at all. Is that it?

he so rarely actually gets called on that

[identity profile] horrible-phd.livejournal.com 2009-03-26 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
That's--

The point is--It's better than the alternative!

But...I have been talking to Carl about the while being evil thing and I don't think I have to be evil and I haven't done anything particularly criminal here. Things have been kind of different, here.

Evil is not something she takes lightly

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2009-03-26 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
How is evil ever better than the alternative? It's evil!

Honestly, I really thought you were a good person deep down and I've been trying very hard to defend you because of that, but you're really not making it very easy right now.

this conversation will not end well *facepalm*

[identity profile] horrible-phd.livejournal.com 2009-03-26 05:07 am (UTC)(link)
The alternative is Captain Hammer. And the Evil League of Evil actually accomplishes things, has the power to affect the status quo. There's something seriously wrong with society and it needs to be changed somehow.

Well--well, I don't need you to defend me, anyway!

It had to come eventually? <3

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2009-03-26 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
And what makes you think anything calling itself an "Evil League of Evil" is going to change anything for the better? Even if Captain Hammer clearly isn't a reasonable alternative--I can't claim to know what your world is like, but still, there must be a better way.

You said yourself that you don't think you have to be evil, that the City is different. And I don't think a truly evil person would even consider thoughts like that. But if you insist that you are...

absolutely! and now he'll just flail ineffectually

[identity profile] horrible-phd.livejournal.com 2009-03-26 05:41 am (UTC)(link)
It can be used that way. Evil's just...a word and when nothing's meaningful anyway--

I'm not insisting. Now.

Awww, Dr. Horrible~

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2009-03-26 05:55 am (UTC)(link)
Evil is not just a word. It's very real and it's very dangerous and it's certainly not something to be taken lightly!

Well, which is it, then? Suppose you had the choice right now, and were absolutely certain of achieving your goals whatever they are either way, so that much didn't make any difference. Would you really still choose to be evil?

[identity profile] horrible-phd.livejournal.com 2009-03-26 01:46 pm (UTC)(link)
If I could have everything I ever...then, no. I mean, I wouldn't go around eating granola and singing Kumbaya, because that's just not me, but I guess I would be, I don't know, whatever seemed like the best thing.

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2009-03-26 02:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Well...that's good. Because for what it's worth, I really don't think you have to be evil, either. I've met some very evil people before and you're not anything like any of them.
