#8: Dr. Horrible's Babysitting Service

[A teenage boy is shown, looking rather small for his age, which is 16.  He is wearing a lab coat that is clearly too long, and looking slightly confused.]



[The boy says the following to the camera.]

Uh, hi.  I'm not really sure what's going on here, and at first I thought I was dreaming, but now I don't know.  Anyway, I know that this is the City and I live here for now...and maybe there was a party last night?  I also know how to work this thing, I think, so you can see me.  I really like computers. 

Anyway, there are a lot of children today and most of you sound kind of lost, even though I'm pretty sure some of you belong here.  Right now I'm in the lobby of Building 11 with some snacks I found in the fridge so if you want you can come by here, or call me if you need help.  I don't babysit much, but I have a couple of younger cousins. 

[ooc:  Well, Billy is very protective of children.  The curse muddled his thinking somehow, so he has vague memories of the city and his adult life and he kind of knows who people are, but has trouble focusing on it.  He probably won't remember much of this tomorrow.

I'm so excited that I got to use Doogie Howser pictures!  He even has a widdle lab coat, d'awwww.  Action for anyone who needs babysitting/wishes to gawk at bitty!horrible.]

I am well. I seem to have escaped the current curse. You are not too young, it seems.

Nah. I'm lucky, I'm a teenager instead of a kid. Although, I keep tripping because my clothes are a bit long. I babysat for Toshiko earlier and it went okay, I guess. Jack didn't set anything on fire as far as I know. And my friend Gabriel might come over.

Have you seen Rain? Do you know if she's cursed?

I haven't seen Rain at all. A curse...right...that's why I'm like this. I seem to keep forgetting.

I'm looking after young Mr. Dedalus at the moment, but perhaps I might stop by later. I am rather concerned for Rain, though. If you have a chance, I would greatly appreciate it if you would look for her, just to make sure she is well.

There a little boy who also remembers being older coming over soon, but I'll go look if I get the chance. Where do you think she is?

She contacting me. She's in a house, and it's probably hers, but it's in the middle of the forest. She says an iron man is coming. Is that a good thing?

An iron man? That sounds quite dreadful to me!

I think maybe it's some kind of pseudonym. She says he can fly, and I don't think he would be able to if he was literally iron. Also she says she loves him and that he's a grown up.

Well, she said he was big. I hope that means he's an adult.
