[Voice Post]
I uh...I don't even know where to begin. I'm not even sure what happened. I was working in my lab when I tripped over an extension cord, and, well...I dropped a canister of wonderflonium and several rolls of duct tape, plus fell flat on my face (still bruised, btw). This would have been a minor accident except in my struggle with the abovementioned extension cord I managed to knock over my Trans-Matter Portal. Typical. I can't do anything right, not even walk across the room, apparently.
Anyway, I was still down on the floor when I heard the sounds of the Trans-Matter Portal powering up. I looked over and there it was lying sideways on the floor with all its indicator lights flashing. Also, it was pointing straight at me. Next thing I knew there was a blast of green light and I found myself here. Wherever here is.
This is definitely not LA. The GPS on my iPhone just says, "The City," and it's letting me make a voice post, but I'm not sure what exactly I'm posting to...I've been walking around and the people and animals and buildings here are really weird. Like, completely impossible. There's this huge carousel in the center of town. I don't think I'm dead...so I guess there's only one possibility.
I have transported myself to a parallel universe.And it's mine for the taking.
Um, does anyone else out there hear ticking?
[ooc: I am weak :P I should warn you, I write a lot. Anyway, Billy is out wandering the city (he happens to be in street clothes, not a labcoat) so feel free to bump into him.]
