In his case, perhaps, the medical community might make an exception. I've met a fair share of big, strong idiots, and I can honestly say that he outdoes each and every one of them.

Well, if you want to study him, go ahead. Maybe someday I can bring you his brain in a jar. Let me know if you figure out what makes him so particularly big of an idiot. (Maybe it's tied in with the superstrength?)

Ah ha. Unfortunately, that kind of study would be along the lines of an autopsy, and I'd like to avoid that sort of thing. You know, though... you may be on to something. I've only met a handful of individuals with supernatural strength, and each of them was--well, they weren't as bad as him, but they weren't clever by any means.

[Dr. Horrible is waiting in the lobby. He realizes it's been rather a while since he's actually had a conversation with anyone in person. And the photo with Penny was a photo with Billy--when was the last time he went out as Billy other than to buy groceries?]

[Carl gets to the lobby fairly quickly for him, which isn't all that fast by normal standards. He has the photo (second from the bottom) with him, and his usual cheer seems a bit forced. That might have something to do with the picture involving a dress and bonnet.]

Hello! I haven't kept you waiting, have I? There was a bit of a--well, nothing but the tabletop was damaged beyond repair, so it's hardly worth mentioning. This belongs to you, I believe.

[That sounds like a perfectly normal day in the lab for Dr. Horrible. He takes the photograph and stares at it.]

It's only been a few months. It feels like...[only this is Dr. Horrible and he's not particularly good with metaphors, so he just shakes his heads.] Well, it's weird to see this.

I think so. I mean, I was missing her...and now I miss her even more. I've been trying to get home but recently it was more about the bad things happening here, than the few good things there. But there were some good things...

I think it's weird that remembering life before seems weird, when it's this place that is really the weird thing.

A few things. Which kind of got overshadowed by the whole getting murdered thing. [He's saying this kind of sarcastically, like it wasn't really that big of a deal, which means it's still really bothering him.]

I've been putting all my spare time into working on it.

Not yet. I'm putting together a few devices to take readings, EMF and such, and I'm going to spend some time hanging out in the square waiting for new arrivals, since they tend to show up there most often.
