#33: Smile for the camera

[Dr. Horrible is sitting facing his webcam, as usual.  There are various scientific implements scattered around, a brain in a jar, and an odd-looking periodic table of the elements behind him.  It's neither his bedroom nor the lab--in fact it is his secret lair in the Underground where he's been spending a lot of time lately.  He grins at the camera, and you can tell he's enjoying this--he's missed being Dr. Horrible this past month.]

Are there fans of mine out there again?  I'd love to hear from you, and I'm taking questions.

Well, right now I'm trying to build a freeze ray. Again. I was so close before, but now...anyway, it's a minor setback, but I need to get some Wonderflonium, somehow. And then I'll use it on Captain Hammer and...then Penny will spend more time with me. I guess.

Uh. Might try taking over the city. I'm not totally sure but I've decided I'm definitely doing something. Not like I've been lately.

I've been having some difficulties in that area. She hates it when I say anything bad about Captain Hammer, and then whenever I hint that I want to be more than friends, things get really awkward.

And I hate when things are awkward between us.

There is always the possibility of concocting some sort of love potion. I know, I know, it's better to have it be the real deal. But, is it better to leave her in the Captain's sleazy clutches? It'd be for her own good, and I'm sure she'd thank you for it later...

I'm not a wizard. Carl did bring up mind control, though, and I've been considering...but it does tend to go wrong. And like I told him, I like Penny the way she is just...not with the liking Captain Hammer. That part is problematic.

Not a wizard, no.... but you do dabble in chemistry, right? Besides... there are spell casters all around you~ and who says that it would affect her personality? If it's done right, she wouldn't be aware of it at all...

It's not actually that hard to find the goggles (http://store.weldingdepot.com/cgi/weldingdepot/R850.html), but you'll have to mod them to get the right mad scientist look. Look for "brazing and cutting goggles" somewhere that sells welding supplies.

Hammer is my priority. So far I haven't had much trouble with anyone else. I mean, I can't stand Iron Man but he's a friend of a friend and hasn't tried to beat me up or anything so I'm just ignoring him for now.
